Statue - A symbol, an expression, and a masterpiece
Statues are built to represent humans or animals and immortalized as landmark of a place. Sometimes they are symbols of certain towns or cities, such as The Little Mermaid of Copenhagen, Denmark, and The Merlion of Singapore. They are an essential part of human culture and civilization.
Statues are also popular snapshot target. With a bit of skill and experience, we can take excellent pictures of such artwork, as if they are alive and moving. We just need to be creative and make use of camera angle, lighting, shadow, background, and color combination to yield superb result. Here are some of the pictures that I took last time:
