Relaxing moments in life

We work hard in life, face everyday challenge, and struggle to stay afloat. It seems to be a never ending loop like a train that moves forward forever.

From time to time, we need to stop for a while and relax, enjoying moments of peace, where we do nothing but breathe deeply, feeling every second of tranquility.

I’m grateful to experience such peaceful moments in life and wish to share some of them with you.
.

I stare at the night sun in the beautiful city of Bergen, Norway. The gentle sun ray paints the whole city golden, giving the 1000 year old wooden buildings and nearby ships a deep nostalgic look. It makes me feel warm and homely. It’s simply the perfect safe haven.

I lie down at the green garden in Copenhagen, Denmark. Many people also lie down casually on the gentle green grass and enjoy their sweet moment in life. The view of relaxing people makes me feel relaxed, making the garden a heaven for mass relaxation. Let’s watch the clouds floats across the sun together.

The yellow line subway of Budapest, Hungary is unique in its own way. The platform is made to look like a train station in classical era. Being there makes me feel like travelling back in time. My time and worries are no longer relevant now, at this moment. It’s a timeless experience in a timeless world.

Venice, Italy is a romantic island with full of energy and human activities. However, we still can find quiet spots near the sea or in the maze of narrow alleys. I stay at the quiet spots and look at countless people pass by. It’s like time has slowed down and I can see people in slow motion. The stillness of time is so calming, as if I have detached from the busy life routine and become the observer of other people’s life. It’s even better if I have gelato with me to sweeten the experience.

.

Relaxing moments are nice, but we don’t have to travel far to experience them. We can just sit at the quiet room while sipping a bowl of warm green tea, practise morning tai chi at the garden, or listen to our favourite calming music with eyes closed.

Do you have any relaxing moments to share? I would love to hear about it.
