People will remember your kindness
Many years ago, I got caught in a rain when I was walking near a row of shops. I took refuge at the shop lot and was already soaking wet.
A lady saw me and invited me into her shop, which was an old school laundry shop. She dried my wet shirt with her old clothes dryer while I rested at her place comfortably until the rain stopped. She then sent me home by car.
Many years have passed and I don’t remember much about the event. But I still feel grateful for the stranger who showed her kindness to me. It’s one of the treasured moments in my life. This article is a tribute to the laundry lady’s kindness to me.
Life is very much about experience. I think we should show more kindness to the world. People will remember and feel grateful for the things we do for them.
I want to be remembered not just as a successful person, but also as a caring human being.
